About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Senior Functional Consultant to join our team and play a key role in managing our financial accounting and controlling systems. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of the SAP FICO module and your understanding of financial processes to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.Responsibilities:- Analyze and understand business requirements related to finance and accounting.- Configure and maintain SAP FICO functionalities across various areas, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis.- Possess a thorough understanding of the entire accounting cycle, including bank reconciliation statements, foreign exchange valuation, period-end closing activities, and asset accounting.- Maintain a basic understanding of sales and procurement cycles to ensure seamless integration with FICO processes.- Demonstrate strong expertise in cross-module value and cost flows within FICO and other relevant SAP modules.- Participate in and lead end-to-end implementations, enhancements, developments, and upgrades of SAP FICO functionalities.- Provide ongoing support to ensure smooth system operation, troubleshoot issues, and resolve user inquiries.- Analyze incidents, service requests (SRs), and change requests (CRs) to identify and implement appropriate solutions.- Possess extensive experience in working with custom development objects (RICEFW) related to FI and CO modules.- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across various departments, including finance, accounting, and IT.Qualifications:- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience working with the SAP FICO module.- Minimum of 1-2 years of domain experience in the finance and accounting field.- In-depth knowledge of the entire accounting cycle, including bank reconciliations, foreign exchange, period-end closing, and asset accounting.- Basic understanding of sales and procurement cycles.- Strong expertise in core FICO functionalities: GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, AA, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis.- Solid understanding of cross-module value and cost flows within FICO and other relevant SAP modules.- Proven track record of successful participation in at least two full FICO implementations, enhancements/developments/upgrades, and support projects.- Experience in analyzing and resolving incidents, SRs, and CRs.- Extensive experience in working with custom development objects (RICEFW) related to FI and CO.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
