Job Roles and Responsibilities :- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and resolution of user issues of tax related applications and systems with a focus on Microsoft Products.- Lead application/system enhancement projects and coordinating internal and external resources.- Perform integrated testing and lead customer acceptance testing of components that requires careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results.- Explore and implement new technology offerings and data sources to advance the digital skills and efficiencies of the tax department, such as Snowflake.- Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint sites and dashboards & visualizations.- Accomplish a high level of technical analysis of data, analyze various outputs, advise others (inside and outside of tax), resolve data issues and effectively communicate outcomes.- Work with business partners to understand informational needs and dive into data to identify insights, ultimately driving sound business decisions. Candidates will have :- The position typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, IT, or business-related degree and 8-10 years of progressively responsible job-related experience.- Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts; corresponds with a global audience and avoids technical jargon when communicating with business partners.- Problem Solving : Knowledge of approaches and tools for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving problems; ability to document and convey resolution alternatives with understanding of stakeholder perspectives.- Analytical Thinking : Ability to identify root cause of problems based on prior experience and current research; organizes and prioritizes the sequence of steps to be taken to remedy a situation.- Accuracy and Attention to Detail : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; demonstrates expertise in quality assurance tools, techniques, and standards. What you will have :- Strong knowledge of M365, specifically SharePoint & Microsoft Power Platform.- Aptitude for process design and technology, with a focus on controls.- Self-starter, able to work independently and adaptable to changing priorities.- Collaborative and team-oriented personality with ability to build and foster relationships throughout the organization.- Caterpillar : Confidential Green.- Understanding of accounting, business processes, financial systems and enterprise operations. Shift Timings : 01:00-10PM IST Skills desired : - Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques, ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Level Working Knowledge :- Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient.- Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness.- Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work.- Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate.- Looks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups.- Accuracy and Attention to Detail : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Level Extensive Experience :- Evaluates and makes contributions to best practices.- Processes large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy.- Productively balances speed and accuracy.- Implements a variety of cross-checking approaches and mechanisms.- Demonstrates expertise in quality assurance tools, techniques, and standards.- Employs techniques for motivating employees to meet or exceed accuracy goals.
