Key skills - System Verilog, UVM, APB, AXI, AMBA, UART, PCIEThe Digital Verification Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and performance of complex digital designs through thorough testing and validation. This position is essential in guaranteeing the quality and reliability of digital systems, contributing to the overall success of the organization's products.Key Responsibilities : - Developing and implementing verification environments using System Verilog and UVM- Creating and executing test plans to validate digital designs- Debugging and resolving design issues in collaboration with the design team- Developing and maintaining functional coverage metrics for verification closure- Writing and maintaining verification test benches and test cases- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure overall product quality- Conducting design and code reviews to ensure compliance with verification methodologies- Investigating and adopting new verification methodologies and tools- Developing and executing constrained random and directed testing- Participating in pre-silicon and post-silicon validation activities- Developing and maintaining verification infrastructure and automation- Contributing to the overall improvement of verification processes and techniques- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior verification engineers- Contributing to the continuous improvement of design-for-verification (DFV) practicesRequired Qualifications : - Proven experience in digital design verification and validation- Proficiency in System Verilog and UVM methodologies- Strong understanding of digital design principles and architectures- Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting- Ability to analyze and debug complex digital designs and verification environments- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills- Experience with formal verification tools and methodologies is a plus- Familiarity with advanced verification techniques such as assertion-based verification- Knowledge of industry-standard protocols and interfaces (e.g. PCIe, DDR, Ethernet)- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment- Experience with hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL- Strong understanding of verification planning and closure processes- Experience with FPGA and ASIC verification is a plus- Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly (ref:hirist.tech)
