Description:
On behalf of our global client, Red is currently looking for an SAP Tax expert that has worked with Sabrix/OneSource to join a project on a 100% remote basis.Role : SAP Tax Consultant Start : ASAP Duration : 6 months+ Languages : English Required Skills :- Should have hands-on experience on SAP Tax.- Should have awareness Global Next connect (for SAP to Sabrix interface).- Should have knowledge on Tax scenarios with respect to SAP Accounts Payable and SAP configuration knowledge on Tax.Key Responsibilities :SAP Tax Configuration and Management : - Configure and manage tax settings within SAP. Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of taxes in compliance with various global tax regulations. - Maintain and update tax codes, tax procedures, and jurisdiction codes within the SAP system. SAP to Sabrix Interface : - Work with Global Next Connect to facilitate the interface between SAP and Sabrix. - Ensure seamless data transfer and integration for tax calculation and reporting purposes. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAP to Sabrix interface. Tax Scenarios in Accounts Payable : - Manage and optimize tax scenarios within SAP Accounts Payable. - Handle tax configurations for vendor transactions, including withholding tax and VAT. - Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations in AP processes. Project Implementation and Support : - Participate in SAP implementation projects with a focus on tax requirements. - Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for tax-related issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax solutions meet business needs. Documentation and Training : - Document tax configurations, procedures, and best practices. - Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on SAP tax processes and configurations. Required Skills and Qualifications : Technical Skills : - Hands-on experience with SAP Tax modules and configuration. - Proficiency in Global Next Connect and its integration with SAP for tax solutions. - Deep understanding of SAP Accounts Payable processes and tax scenarios. - Strong knowledge of global tax regulations and compliance requirements. Experience : - Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in SAP tax consulting or a related field. - Proven track record of working on SAP tax implementations and support. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : - Ability to analyze complex tax scenarios and implement effective solutions. - Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve interface and configuration issues. Communication and Collaboration : - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory) : - SAP certification in tax-related modules. Relevant certifications in tax or finance. Work Environment : - Full-time position. - May require occasional travel for project implementation and support. (ref:hirist.tech)
