Associate Architect - Python/Microservices Architecture (8-11 yrs) Bangalore

Description:
Responsibilities : - Be fully accountable for the quality of code for which the team is responsible (either through personal review or thoughtful delegation).- Take full responsibility for delivering solutions into production (working through operations teams).- Be responsible for training and mentoring developers on the team and recommending actions around capacity planning and career planning.- Work with the technical project management to create and maintain a prioritized backlog and schedule for the team.- Be responsible for architectural decisions in consultation with other members of the engineering leadership.- Provide technical leadership to multiple teams of both in-office/remote software engineers.- Be able to diagnose and troubleshoot production problems.- Identify technical risks to the sprint commitments early on and ensure we meet business objectives.- Review Pull Requests and do code reviews.- Ensure clarity on NFR and address these requirements during the Architecture definition phase and make sure these are realized during the engineering and deployment phase.Requirements :- 8+ years of experience in core software development.- Should have experience working in product-based companies building data products.- Leading teams successfully in a dynamic, fast time-to-market, and customer-focused environment.- Working with small, agile development teams.- 3+ years of experience in architecting solutions with a focus on server-side web applications, REST APIs, and/or microservices.- Should have strong experience in working with Python and related technologies.Should have good experience with the below technologies :- Databases : MySQL, NoSQL (DynamoDB), Postgres, HBase.- DevOps : Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow.- Proficient in creating technical documents like Architecture views, Technology Architecture blueprints, and design specifications.- Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery using Azure DevOps or similar.- Should have experience in creating and managing Cloud infrastructure for deploying and scaling the application.- Good experience in Data pipelines or distributed message queues.- DB Index Management, Partitioning, and System Catalogs.- Performance tuning and query tuning by generating and explaining plans for SQL queries.- Knowledge and hands-on work experience in Docker is a must.- Passion for software security.- Eagerness to learn new technology and solve problems.- Inclusive, roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic shows a willingness to participate in daily workloads when needed to meet deadlines.Pluses : Cybersecurity concepts and technologies. HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant compliance experience.Good to have the following skills :- Distributed File Systems : HDFS.- Distributed Data Processing : Hadoop Map Reduce, Parallel Processing, Stream Processing, Flume, Splunk, Kafka, Spark, Flink.- DevOps : Ansible, Chef, Airflow.- Knowledge in Monitoring and Alerting Tools CloudWatch, AppDynamics, and Splunk.Location : Bangalore (ref:hirist.tech)
