Job Description :- Good Knowledge of Endevor, Quick3270, Microfocus ALM, MQ Series/ALM tools.- Has some background in DB Modeling. - IT technical background & mainframe programming experience. - Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design and development.- Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Ability to multi-task effectively. - Prioritize Business Impact and Urgency. - Perform application support tasks like: systems support, security reviews, & maintenance tasks. - Testing experience. - Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly.Responsibilities : - Mainframe Development: Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and SQL. Utilize tools such as Endevor, Quick3270, Microfocus ALM, and MQ Series for development and deployment. - Database Modeling: Apply knowledge in database modeling to design and manage DB2 databases effectively. - Software Delivery: Participate in all phases of software delivery, with a focus on requirements gathering, design, development, and testing. Perform application support tasks including systems support, security reviews, and maintenance activities. - Incident Management: Quickly troubleshoot and resolve incidents, providing timely business support and ensuring minimal impact on operations. - Problem Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues. - Multi-Tasking and Prioritization: Effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize based on business impact and urgency. - Testing: Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure quality and reliability. - Learning and Adaptation: Quickly learn new technologies and methodologies to stay current with industry trends and improve efficiency.
