Roles & Responsibilities :- Create Cypress automation frameworks and maintain its modularity- Remove technical impediments and create a framework for automation delivery- API automation using Rest Assured knowledge is a big plus- Extensive experience in building automation frameworks using Cypress for web application testing.- Proficiency in JavaScript programming language, including ES6 features, to write efficient and maintainable test scripts.- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Mocha or Jasmine, which are commonly used in conjunction with Cypress for organizing and executing tests.- Understanding and implementation of the Page Object Model design pattern for creating scalable and maintainable test scripts.- Ability to design and maintain modular automation frameworks to enhance reusability and maintainability of test scripts.- Experience in integrating Cypress tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for automated test execution.- Proficiency in version control systems like Git for managing test scripts and collaboration with other team members.- Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues in test scripts and automation frameworks.- Understanding of RESTful API concepts and experience in automating API testing using tools like Rest Assured, which is a valuable skill as mentioned in the job description.
