Job Description :Role : Senior Software Engineer: Test Automation, Using Jenkins, Gitlab Cicd, PythonThe Lead Verification and Validation Engineer as a part of the Patient Care Solutions, will be responsible for design Verification and Validation using manual and automated test methods and will be accountable for verification deliverables for the program.CTC : based on the experienceLocation : Whitefeild, BengaluruRoles and Responsibilities :- Testing Strategy and Framework Development- Test Planning and Execution- Test Automation- CI/CD Integration- Data Quality Monitoring and Governance- Collaboration and Best Practices- Mentorship and Knowledge Transfer Desired Qualifications :Experience : 5+ years of proven experience as a Verification and Validation engineer, QA engineer, or similar role, with a focus on data-centric systems.Automation Mindset : Strong background in test automation tools and frameworks (eg., Selenium, Cypress, Pytest, JUnit). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, etc.).CI/CD Understanding : In-depth knowledge of CI/CD concepts, tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.), and how to integrate comprehensive testing into software delivery pipelines.Communication & Collaboration : - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work across teams and stakeholders at all levels.Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.Technical skills :- Working knowledge of Containers & Virtualization Technologies including Dockers and Kubernetes to test complex scenarios.- Exposure to IAAS , PAAS & SAAS automation pipelines, Good experience with CICD, gitlab runner is preferred.- Experience on testing Infra components OS/Network level knowledge.- Working Knowledge of measuring performance KPI's, throughput, responses, etc. using JMeter, Load Runner, etc.- Expertise in one or more scripting languages like shell or python, working knowledge of Linux.- Expertise on at least anyone programming languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.- A minimum of 5 + years of hands-on experience in Behavior Driven Development automation of backend services (Behavior Driven Development/JBehave/Cucumber/Java/REST) (ref:hirist.tech)
