We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Developer with extensive experience in COBOL and subroutine management, SAS coding and testing, and JCL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in debugging using Xpeditor and hands-on experience with NDM and Sterling File Gateway (SFG) jobs. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. Job description :- Mainframe Developer + COBOL + Calling and Called Subroutines.- Experience in Mainframe SAS coding & Testing.- Exp in JCL & have dealt with NDM and SFG (Sterling File Gateway) Jobs.- Must have experience with Debugging tool Xpeditor.- COBOL-DB2 modules.Job Summary :Key Responsibilities :COBOL Programming : - Develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs. - Implement and manage calling and called subroutines. Mainframe SAS: - Write and test SAS programs on mainframe systems. - Ensure the integrity and quality of the code. Job Control Language (JCL) : - Create, modify, and execute JCL scripts. - Manage and automate batch processing jobs. File Transfer and Management : - Handle NDM (Network Data Mover) processes. - Work with Sterling File Gateway (SFG) for secure file transfers. Debugging and Troubleshooting : - Utilize Xpeditor for debugging and resolving issues.- Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes. Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions. Document processes, procedures, and code changes. Required Qualifications Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in mainframe development. Technical Skills : - Proficient in COBOL programming. Experience with SAS coding and testing on mainframes. - Skilled in JCL with a solid understanding of NDM and SFG jobs. - Strong debugging skills using Xpeditor. Soft Skills : - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented and committed to quality. Preferred Qualifications Certifications : - Relevant certifications in mainframe technologies and tools.
