Job Description :In this role, you'll leverage your extensive experience to assess, design, and migrate applications, ensuring they align perfectly with business objectives.Responsibilities :- Deep-Dive Assessment : Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing applications, analyzing their current state in relation to servers, storage, integration points, criticality, user access, and other relevant factors.- Bridging the Gap : Collaborate closely with application teams to identify and address any discrepancies between the desired and actual state of the application.- Documenting the Current Landscape : Create a clear and concise current-state artifact, including both logical and physical diagrams (if they don't already exist) to provide a visual representation of the application's infrastructure.- Target State Visionary : Develop a well-defined target state architecture, considering either on-premise or cloud-based landing zones (depending on business needs).- Architecting the Future : Craft target state artifacts, including detailed logical and physical diagrams along with network and security flow visualizations, to illustrate the future state of the application.- Collaborative Communication : Effectively socialize the target state architecture with application teams, solution design peers, security partners, and review boards, fostering open communication and alignment.- Technical Leadership : Assume the technical lead role for subsequent application migration activities, providing guidance and direction to the team. You'll also act as the primary escalation point for any design changes or technical issues that may arise.Qualifications :- 8+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or a related technical design role.- Proven track record of successfully assessing, designing, and migrating complex applications.- In-depth understanding of application architecture principles, infrastructure components (servers, storage, networking), and security best practices.- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
