We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Software Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable Java applications that support our critical business needs. You will leverage your expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and security best practices to build high-performance and secure solutions.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement microservices using Spring Boot framework and RESTful APIs.- Implement data access layer using Spring Data JPA for efficient database interactions.- Utilize asynchronous messaging with JMS or Kafka for loosely coupled communication between microservices.- Integrate security features into applications using Spring Security framework (JWT, JWE authentication/authorization).- Implement caching mechanisms using a popular caching framework (e.g., Ehcache, Caffeine) for performance optimization.- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.- Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.- Participate in the CI/CD pipeline using Git and automate testing and deployment processes.- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues to ensure application stability and performance.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java technologies, Spring framework, and security best practices.Qualifications :Bachelor's/Master's Degree- 5-8 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer or a similar role.- In-depth knowledge of Java 8 features (lambdas, streams, functional interfaces, etc.) and secure coding practices.- Strong understanding of Spring Boot architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices concepts.- Experience with Spring Data JPA for data access and persistence.- Familiarity with asynchronous messaging protocols like JMS or Kafka.- Knowledge of security concepts (JWT, JWE, symmetric/asymmetric encryption) and Spring Security framework.- Experience with at least one caching framework for performance optimization.- Experience in deploying applications in a multi-node, multi-region environment (a plus).- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.- (ref:hirist.tech)
