About the Role :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team. This is a remote-first position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating effectively with colleagues. In this role, you will play a key role in the entire data lifecycle, from designing and implementing data pipelines to ensuring data quality and generating valuable insights.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data from various sources to target data warehouses and data lakes.- Build and maintain robust data models that support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to identify data needs and design solutions to meet those needs.- Implement data quality checks and procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.- Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create clear and informative dashboards and reports.- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to build and manage scalable data pipelines.- Participate in the ongoing optimization and improvement of data infrastructure and processes.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and best practices.Qualifications :- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and ETL methodologies.- Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions.- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python or Java for data manipulation.- Experience with data visualization tools to create compelling data stories.- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote environment.
