Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in scaling engineering teams, managing complex technical projects, and driving technical excellence.Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the engineering team, including recruiting, mentoring, and developing top engineering talent- Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive execution- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable software solutions - Scale best practices for software development, including microservices, multi-tenanted, distributed systems, multi-cloud deployments (AWS/GCP), GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC)- Familiarity with data security principles, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks.- Comfortable with major languages, frameworks including Node.js, Python, Java, and Go, and databases/data lakes including SQL, NoSQL, Snowflake/Athena- Also manage frontend development teams for react-based frameworks- Ensure the highest standards of quality through thorough testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines- Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the engineering organizationQualifications :- Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering- 7- 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering)- Proven track record of successfully scaling engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, event-based systems, and multi-cloud deployments- Experience with best practices such as GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and thorough testing methodologies- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional leadership and manage technical vendors and agencies- Experience in the logistics industry or a related field is a plusInterview Rounds: Discussion with me + Technical Round with CPTO (virtual) + CEO + HRIMPORTANT NOTE :1. The client prefer candidates from Delhi NCR.2. The client prefers candidates from b2b product or SAAS product-based logistic companies3.
