Description:
Job Summary : - The Senior HTML/CSS Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining the front-end of our web applications.- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HTML and CSS, along with experience in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.- You will work closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions that meet the needs of our users.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented HTML and CSS code.- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive designs that work across various devices and browsers.- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and fix any layout issues.- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.- Stay updated with the latest web standards, best practices, and technologies.- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality.- Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.- Participate in the planning and estimation of projects.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in front-end development.- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS.- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.- Familiarity with front-end build tools and task runners (e.g., Web pack, Gulp).- Knowledge of JavaScript and frameworks/libraries such as jQuery is a plus.- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with CSS methodologies such as BEM or SMACSS.- Familiarity with CSS-in-JS libraries and modern front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.- Experience with performance testing and optimization tools.- Contribution to open-source projects or a portfolio of relevant (ref:hirist.tech)
