Description:
Role : Software QA TesterRemote We are seeking a Software QA Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The Software QA Tester will be responsible for reviewing requirements, developing new tests, test plans, running test execution on a daily basis, performing smoke tests, maintaining existing test suites, and providing support to other SCRUM teams as needed as part of the development lifecycle process. The Software QA Tester will also be responsible for creating, reporting, and tracking defects along with collaborating with team members and stakeholders.Requirements :1. 4+ years of professional experience required building and maintaining tests in a BDD (Behavior Driven Development) environment.2. Nice to have: 4+ years of professional experiences utilizing the following technology and tools: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Java, IntelliJ, TestNG, JUnit, Postman/API, Maven, Jenkins, Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Slack, HTML, Agile, SQL, BDD, Restful, Rest Assured, Selenium Grid, Serenity, AWS, CI/CD Pipeline (moderate), and Confluence.3. End To End test cycle exposure such as Integration /Functional/ System/ Regression along with DB/ compatibility /Performance testing, and root cause analysis.4. Demonstrated experience with Regression, Integration, API, Performance, and Functional testing.5. Demonstrated experience using JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint.6. Strong knowledge of SQL and database structures, including ability to query data using Oracle and MS SQL Server databases.7. Work closely with senior team members as work is planned and delivered.8. Provide ownership of test execution and issue triage.9. Hands on experience in the preparation of Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports, Requirements Tractability Matrix in an Agile environment.10. Strong analytical skills, with a thorough understanding of testing best practices.11. Ability to design, modify, write, execute, and review comprehensive and well-structured functional test plans and tests.12. Recommend and implement improvements to QA processes, tools, and methodologies.13. Provide clear and concise feedback on software quality and testing progress.14. ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification or other equivalent certifications in QA or software testing is a plus. (ref:hirist.tech)
