About the Role:We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to join our team and play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of a future-proof document management system. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand current needs and leverage your expertise in SharePoint functionalities to create a robust and user-friendly platform. You will also explore the potential of Power Platform to streamline workflows and further enhance the document management experience.Responsibilities:- Design and develop SharePoint sites, leveraging features like document libraries, content types, metadata, and workflows to optimize document organization and management.- Analyze the existing Microsoft 365 environment and design a scalable architecture for a future-ready document management system.- Create intuitive user interfaces and navigation structures within SharePoint, replicating the familiar experience of Confluence for a smooth transition.- Collaborate with the team to review potential Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps) and translate them into functional workflows for automation.- Develop custom SharePoint web parts to address specific needs and enhance user experience.- Create reusable templates to ensure consistency and efficiency in document creation.- Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate repetitive tasks and manage SharePoint configurations effectively.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SharePoint development and best practices.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Proven experience developing and customizing SharePoint solutions.- Strong understanding of SharePoint functionalities, including document libraries, content types, metadata, and workflows.- Experience with migrating or integrating document management systems (bonus points for Confluence experience).- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus.- Proficiency in creating custom SharePoint web parts.- Experience with developing and implementing templates within SharePoint.- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
