Hiring for one of our client at Pune location for QA -Automation Engineer.Notice period : Not more than 60 daysWorking : Hybrid- Write, design and execute manual as well as automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.- Should have good hands-on experience in Functional, Regression and Integration testing.- Should be able to guide and groom team members technically.- Should have experience in Behavior Driven Testing frameworks.- Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.- Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios- Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases- Build test automation frameworks- Log and document bugs/defects in the tracking system- Set up Continuous Integration.- Builds strong relationship with IT and across business teams- Ensure sufficient test coverage for all projects typically small to large projects in complexity- Complete understanding of Onboarding applications/processes including architecture- Implements a risk-based testing strategy to ensure production meets customer expectation- Able to design and perform test execution on all tests if needed- Responsible for the full suite of test tools, processes and artifacts and make sure they are documented- Provides as a 'risk owner'- communicates and provides documentation throughout the project lifecycle highlighting potential risks and mitigation plans- Updates tests based on issues/bugs found in productionSkills Required :- Technical Skills :- 4 - 7 years' experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, REST Assured. - 2-3 years' experience working on Cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus- 2-3 years' experience with Linux/Unix systems- Understand Java, JavaScript languages - Database management understanding is a plus.- Enhance testing framework to accommodate the scripting needs - Analytical skills : Analytically examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processes - Attention to detail : Being detail oriented is required as you will test web and mobile applications to find ways to improve them and isolate problems - Communication skills : Strong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errors- Ability to describe good Quality / testing techniques- Knowledge of Agile methodologies- Ability to identify and mitigate risks- Demonstrated success with delivering on time with quality- Adapts quickly to new technologies and processes (ref:hirist.tech)
