What You Will Be Doing :Software Development Leadership : - Direct the development of solutions for physical and virtual card systems, integrating these with both internal and external platforms.Technical Planning and Support : Assist in planning and executing technical integrations and oversee the technical direction of projects to align with business objectives.Team Management : Manage and mentor a team of Developers and Architects, fostering an environment of learning and growth.Quality Assurance and Standards : Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality and coding standards. Conduct final reviews and sign-offs to guarantee compliance with information security standards.Vendor and Stakeholder Relations : Build and maintain effective relationships with project vendors and communicate technical progress, risks, and issues to all relevant stakeholders.Documentation and Testing Support : - Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and support the Test Lead in developing and executing test cases.Go-Live Management : - Manage technical aspects of the project's Go-live and subsequent post Go-live activities to ensure smooth operation and continuation.Your Background :Education : Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.Experience : - Minimum 12 years of professional experience as a software engineer.- Extensive experience in Java and Go programming, particularly in API integration.- Proven track record in leading payment product development, including physical and virtual prepaid cards, across multiple markets.Skills :- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a technical team.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building relationships with stakeholders and managing a team.- Interest in and knowledge of the crypto and blockchain industries is highly desirable.Industry Experience : - Experience in the financial market or crypto industry is a significant advantage.- This a 12-month contractual role. The selected consultant would be required to relocate to Dubai for this role. (ref:hirist.tech)
