Job Description :Certain Mandatory Requirements for the role :1. Exp of Java Based ERP system2. Exp of Oracle/SQL Based ERP system3. Exp in Cloud technologies Azure, AWS, GCP.4. Techno-Managerial Exp5. Exp in Technical Planning, Design and Development.Responsibilities :- The Technology head of Software Development will provide technical leadership, vision, direction, and mentoring for multiple software engineering teams. - This individual will manage multiple teams which design, develop, and support applications and a Platform to meet business requirements. - The Director of Software Development will deliver product and feature roadmaps and provide overall leadership and day to day management for multiple teams of software development professionals. - Additionally, they will provide resource planning and project scheduling using Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.- Work closely with Engineering Managers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development, be a champion of engineering excellence: establish team metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence. - Implement a consistent, regular process for assessment and improvement. - Set up the organization & processes to enable timely delivery of projects with high quality.- Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption,- Oversee Architecture & design of technically robust, flexible, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.- Architecting and engineering solutions which can meet the requirement of unknown customer buying off the shelf products- Ensure best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).- Ensure all technology operations comply with relevant rules and regulations. - Implement and maintain security best practices to protect company product data and infrastructure.- Engage with product management and office team to drive the functionality, usability and other non-functional requirements and hence the solution for the same.- Ensure on-time launches by managing design, development, and integration efforts according to a standard or customized project plan- Be responsible for mentoring and developing front line managers and engineers.
