We are currently seeking a talented QA Lead to join our team and drive the quality assurance efforts for our platform.Role Overview: As a QA Test Lead you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our platform. You will lead a team, oversee all testing activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our testing processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual and automated testing, API testingAdditionally, the candidate should have demonstrated experience in building automation scripts from scratch.Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the highest standards of quality in our platform.- Develop and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test suites using cutting- edge testing tools and frameworks.- Build automation scripts from scratch to automate testing processes and enhance overall testing efficiency.- Conduct rigorous API testing to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our backend services.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, define testing strategies, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation suites to enable seamless integration and deployment of software updates.- Define and implement testing best practices, standards, and processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness across projects.- Monitor and analyse test results, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.- Act as a subject matter expert on testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, providing guidance and training to team members as needed.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and recommendations for improvement.- Previous experience in working with DBs and querying it using SQLQualifications:- Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.- 5-10 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing, automation testing, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines.- Extensive hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Java Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Gatling, Soap UI, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.- Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch to automate the entire testing processes / cycles.- Should have already worked on initiating an automation project from scratch in migrating the testing process towards a 100% automation goal.- Experience using Database querying tool such as MySQL, PostgreSQL- 3+ years experience showcasing excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in testing large-scale systems and applications, ensuring they meet performance and scalability requirements.
