About the Role : We are seeking a talented and motivated Python Automation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in automating various software testing processes. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python and leveraging industry-standard tools to improve our software development lifecycle. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient automation test scripts using Python. - Implement object-oriented programming (OOP) principles for creating reusable and maintainable automation frameworks. - Automate web and mobile application UI testing using tools like Selenium and Appium. - Utilize various testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box testing) for comprehensive test coverage. - Leverage standard test frameworks like Pytest or unittest for test case organization and execution. - Apply strong analytical and logical thinking skills to identify automation opportunities and troubleshoot challenges. - Work independently to overcome technical blockers and resolve issues effectively. - Demonstrate self-motivation, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks to achieve team goals. - Collaborate effectively with the QA team, providing and receiving feedback on automation scripts and testing strategies. - Proactively contribute ideas, suggestions, and solutions for improving the automation testing process. - Offer constructive analysis of team members' ideas to foster a collaborative learning environment. - Gain hands-on experience with various testing tools including: Version control systems (e.g., Git) - Test management software Bug tracking software Continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins) Requirements : - 2+ years of experience in software development or a related field. - Proficiency in Python programming with a strong understanding of OOP concepts. - Experience with web and/or mobile application UI automation frameworks like Selenium or Appium. - Working knowledge of different testing methodologies and QA principles. - Experience with a standard test framework (e.g., Pytest, unittest). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and independently. - Strong self-motivation, ownership, and accountability for achieving team goals. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment. - A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute new ideas and offer constructive feedback. - Familiarity with various testing tools (Git, test management software, bug tracking software, CI tools) is a plus.
