About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile ServiceNow Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that improve our operational efficiency and user experience. You will leverage your skills in business process analysis, development, and testing to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.Responsibilities :Business Process Analysis and Requirements Gathering :- Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for automation and improvement using ServiceNow.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for new or enhanced functionalities.- Translate business needs into clear and concise functional specifications for development.- Interpret data and reports to understand process bottlenecks and areas for optimization.ServiceNow Development and Implementation :- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using ServiceNow APIs, scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript), and workflows.- Configure modules and workflows to automate tasks, streamline processes, and enhance user experience.- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using APIs or web services (if applicable).- Conduct thorough testing of developed applications to ensure functionality, performance, and user-friendliness.Collaboration and Communication :- Work closely with cross-functional teams (business analysts, IT operations) throughout the development lifecycle.- Effectively communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.- Provide ongoing support and training to users on new or modified ServiceNow functionalities.- Document processes, workflows, and code for future reference and knowledge transfer.Skills and Experience :- 3+ years of experience working with ServiceNow platform and its development tools.- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, CSM, CMDB) and their functionalities.- Experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, and data interpretation.- Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript for ServiceNow development (GlideScript preferred).- Familiarity with ServiceNow APIs and web services for integration purposes (a plus).- Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile) is a plus.- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
