Description:
Responsibilities :Release Planning and Management :- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to define release scope, timelines, and success criteria.- Develop and maintain comprehensive release plans, including scheduling, dependencies, and resource allocation.- Manage the release lifecycle from inception to deployment, encompassing design, planning, testing, and rollout.- Implement Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) to manage the product backlog and prioritize backlog items for upcoming releases.Stakeholder Management and Communication :- Proactively engage with key stakeholders (business owners, developers, IT operations) throughout the release process.- Clearly communicate release plans, risks, and dependencies to all stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.- Manage expectations and address concerns to ensure project alignment and smooth execution.Change Management and Risk Management :- Develop and implement effective change management strategies to minimize disruption during deployments.- Identify potential risks associated with releases and define mitigation plans to address them proactively.- Track and report on release progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.Technical Expertise :- Possess a strong understanding of system analysis, configuration management, and testing methodologies.- Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and adherence to technical standards.- Work with IT operations to ensure successful deployments and post-deployment support.Lending Industry Experience (Preferred) :- Prior experience working within the lending industry is a plus.- Understanding of lending-specific regulations and compliance requirements is highly valued.Skills and Experience :- 8+ years of experience as a Release Manager or similar role within a software development environment.- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software releases on time and within budget.- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred) and program management principles.- Experience with release management tools and processes (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Git).- Strong understanding of system analysis, configuration management, and testing methodologies.- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders effectively.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools.- Experience with preferred Identity Access Management (IAM) tools (mention specific tools if known).
