We're seeking a talented and experienced Node.js developer to join our team and play a key role in building robust, scalable, and secure backend systems. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs that power our innovative applications.Responsibilities :- Node.js Expertise : You possess deep experience working with Node.js and have a strong understanding of its capabilities and best practices.- Database Savvy : You have a solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database systems, their strengths and weaknesses, and experience working with databases like MongoDB.- API Architect : You have a firm grasp of MVC architecture and stateless APIs. You'll design and build robust RESTful APIs that adhere to best practices and provide a seamless user experience.- Scaling and Security Champion : You have experience and knowledge of scaling considerations for Node.js applications and prioritize security best practices.- Full-Stack Collaboration : You'll collaborate effectively with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring a cohesive user experience.- Code Craftsmanship : You write clean, well-documented, reusable, and testable code, ensuring code maintainability and quality.- Performance Optimization : You design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications that can handle high traffic demands.- Security Guardian : You're passionate about securing our applications and implement robust security measures to protect user data.- Data Wrangler : You'll integrate appropriate data storage solutions and design efficient database structures to optimize data access and retrieval.Qualifications :- Proven experience building backend systems with Node.js (3+ years)- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming concepts- Experience with popular Node.js frameworks and libraries (e.g., Express.js)- Experience with a variety of databases, including both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API design principles- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha- Experience with scaling strategies for Node.js applications- A strong focus on writing secure and maintainable code- Excellent communication and collaboration skillsBonus Points :- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (ref:hirist.tech)
