About the Role :We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of data science within our organization. In this leadership role, you will leverage your expertise to guide complex data projects, manage a team of data scientists, and unlock valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making.Responsibilities :- Lead and manage the development and execution of data science projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.- Partner with stakeholders across departments to understand data needs, translate them into actionable insights, and communicate findings effectively.- Develop and implement innovative machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and data analysis techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets.- Foster a collaborative and high-performing data science team, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to junior data scientists.- Oversee the data science lifecycle, including data acquisition, cleaning, analysis, model building, deployment, and monitoring.- Champion a culture of data-driven decision making by evangelizing the power of data science across the organization.- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in data science methodologies and technologies, and continuously improve our data science practices.- Track and monitor the performance of data science models, refine them as needed, and measure their business impact.- Identify and prioritize new data science opportunities that optimize business processes and drive competitive advantage.- Manage and maintain a robust data science infrastructure, ensuring data security, accessibility, and quality.Qualifications :- Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience and proven achievements).- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a data science or related role with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects.- Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques.- Experience working with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.- Proven ability to manage projects effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver results within budget constraints.- Passion for data science and a strong desire to apply cutting-edge techniques to solve real-world problems.
