Job Title - Engineering ManagerLocation - PuneExperience - 12+yearsMandate Skills : - Java, Springboot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS along with 3 years of team handling, Client handling, and Process Management experience- are mandated.Roles and Responsibilities :Team Leadership : - Lead, mentor, and coach a team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Provide guidance and support to team members, including performance management, career development, and skills enhancement.Project Management : - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and requirements. - Develop project plans, set timelines, and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. - Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.Technical Leadership : - Provide technical guidance and expertise to the engineering team, including architecture design, coding best practices, and technology selection. - Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote the use of efficient development practices. - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain technical excellence.Cross-Functional Collaboration : - Collaborate with other departments, such as product management, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure alignment on project priorities and goals. - Facilitate communication and collaboration between engineering teams and other stakeholders to drive cross-functional initiatives and resolve dependencies.Client Engagement : - Collaborate with sales, account management, and solution architects to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions. - Engage with clients as an advisor, providing strategic guidance, thought leadership, and insights on leveraging data-driven approaches.Process Improvement : - Identify opportunities to streamline engineering processes, improve efficiency, and enhance team productivity. - Implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to optimize the software development lifecycle and delivery pipeline. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and learning within the engineering organization.
