Job Title : Senior Commerce Platform ArchitectExperience : 15 YearsEmployment Type : [Full-time/Contract]Job Description : experienced and dynamic Senior Commerce Platform Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento) as well as other leading commerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce, Commerce Tools, SAP Hybris, and SAP Commerce Cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of D2C, B2B, and B2C solutions, integration with various digital marketing solutions, and the ability to develop and implement high-level solution designs.Key Responsibilities :Architecture and Design :- Lead the architecture and design of commerce solutions on platforms like Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce, Commerce Tools, SAP Hybris, and SAP Commerce Cloud.- Design and develop D2C, B2B, and B2C solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.- Create high-level solution designs, iterating to ensure they meet client needs and challenges.- Implement and manage different architecture patterns such as store front, headless commerce, hybrid commerce, and experience-driven commerce.Integration and Development :- Integrate commerce solutions with other digital marketing platforms, including PIM, IDP, CDP, loyalty programs, messaging, campaigns, and analytics.- Ensure solutions are robust and scalable, meeting nonfunctional requirements like performance, security, and scalability.- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in development processes.Cloud Services and Data Management :- Utilize cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and tools like Databricks for ETL processes and RDBMS.- Develop strategies for data integration, management, and utilization in commerce solutions.Strategic Planning and Execution :- Break down client strategies into phased roadmaps, aligning them with industry best practices and technological prerequisites.- Contribute to digital marketing strategies and provide strategic guidance to clients for maximizing e-commerce effectiveness.- Assist project delivery teams in ensuring quality project delivery within specified timelines and budget.Client Engagement and Support :- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite and senior leadership, throughout the engagement lifecycle.- Provide strategic direction, conduct productive discussions, and manage conflicts and divergent opinions effectively.- Deliver training and enablement sessions aligned with the company's development plan.Thought Leadership and Innovation :- Progress the maturity and scale of the Consulting Practice by sharing knowledge, best practices, and methodologies.- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and commerce.- Innovate and pioneer new consulting practices within the industry.Skills & Qualifications :-15+ years of experience in commerce platforms, with at least 10+ years of experience in Adobe Commerce (Magento) and 2+ years in another commerce platform (Salesforce Commerce, Commerce Tools, SAP Hybris, SAP Commerce Cloud).- Proven leadership in managing large technical teams or Centers of Excellence (COE) in the digital marketing domain.- Expertise in HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, XML, PHP, RESTful services, web analytics, and content targeting.- Experience in pre-sales and marketing with strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.- Knowledge of digital marketing trends, D2C, experience-driven commerce, personalization, cross-channel marketing, mobile optimization, and data-driven insights.- Innovative thinker with a desire to build and pioneer a new consulting practice.
