Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tosca Automation Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience working with Tricentis Tosca, with a strong focus on UI automation, API testing, and a deep understanding of Tosca Commander (TCD), Tosca Data Services (TDS), and Tosca Execution Server (DEX). They will be responsible for leading the Tosca automation practice, driving test automation strategy, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality automated test suites.Responsibilities:Leadership and Strategy:- Lead the Tosca automation team by setting goals, defining test automation strategy, and assigning tasks.- Mentor and guide junior Tosca engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.- Continuously improve the Tosca automation practices within the team, implementing best practices and automation frameworks.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Tosca and related testing tools, and recommend upgrades and integration strategies.Technical Expertise:- Develop and maintain complex automated test cases for web applications using Tosca UI testing functionalities.- Design and implement automated API tests using Tosca's API testing capabilities.- Manage and configure test data using Tosca Data Services (TDS) for efficient test execution.- Schedule and execute automated test suites using Tosca Execution Server (DEX).- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.- Maintain test automation documentation, including test scripts, data models, and execution plans.- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues within Tosca test automation scripts.Additional Skills:- Experience with other testing methodologies and tools (eg Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) is a plus.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively (ref:hirist.tech)
