Job Description :We are seeking a passionate and skilled Docker Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining containerized applications using Docker and related technologies. You will leverage your expertise to optimize our container infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security.Responsibilities : - Design and implement containerization strategies for microservices and cloud-native applications.- Build and maintain Docker images, ensuring efficiency and consistency across deployments.- Manage container orchestration using tools like Kubernetes or Swarm.- Configure and maintain container registries for secure image storage and distribution.- Integrate Docker with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.- Monitor container performance and resource utilization.- Troubleshoot and debug container-related issues.- Secure containerized applications by implementing best practices and vulnerability management.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Docker, container orchestration, and container security.- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and other IT professionals to ensure seamless adoption of containerization technologies.- Assist in automating container infrastructure management tasks.- Document containerized applications, deployment processes, and best practices.Technical Skills (Required) :- 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing containerized applications with Docker.- In-depth knowledge of Docker concepts, including images, containers, volumes, networks, and registries.- Proficiency in container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Swarm (experience with one is a plus, strong understanding of both is preferred).- Experience with container registries (e., Docker Hub, private registries).- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their integration with Docker.- Experience with container monitoring tools (e., Prometheus, Grafana).- Strong understanding of Linux system administration and container security principles.- Experience with scripting languages (i.e., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.Educational qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's (ref:hirist.tech)
