Job Description : Application Development :- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.Microservices Architecture :- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices.- Develop APIs and ensure seamless integration between microservices.Database Management :- Design and maintain relational databases using SQL.- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.System Integration :- Integrate Java applications with third-party services and external APIs.- Implement middleware and messaging services for inter-service communication.Advanced Responsibilities :Performance Optimization :- Identify performance bottlenecks in applications and databases.- Implement solutions to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.Security :- Implement security best practices in application development, including data encryption, secure authentication, and authorization.- Conduct code reviews and vulnerability assessments to ensure code security.Leadership and Mentorship :Team Collaboration :- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.Mentorship :- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on coding standards, best practices, and technical issues.- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Strategic Planning and Execution : Technical Design :- Lead the technical design of complex features and enhancements.- Create detailed design documents and technical specifications.Project Management :- Manage and prioritize tasks within the team to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.Stakeholder Management :Requirements : Gathering and Analysis :- Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Conduct feasibility analysis and provide technical recommendations.Stakeholder Communication :- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.- Present technical solutions and project updates to non-technical stakeholders.Quality Assurance and Compliance : Testing and Debugging :- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.- Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on production systems.Documentation :- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the codebase, system architecture, and design decisions.- Create and update user guides and technical manuals as needed.Continuous Improvement :Innovation and Improvement :- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.Learning and Development :- Participate in technical training, conferences, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.- Share knowledge with the team and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.Technical Expertise :Java and Spring Boot :- Extensive experience with Java (including Java 8+ features) and Spring Boot for building robust applications.Proficiency in Spring framework modules such as Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.Microservices :- Strong understanding of microservices principles, including service discovery, load balancing, and circuit breakers.- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.SQL and Databases :- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and database schemas.- Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.DevOps and CI/CD :- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment:Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e. , Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI).- Automate deployment processes and ensure smooth delivery of applications to various environments.Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's Degree (ref:hirist.tech)
