Job description: Oracle Database Engineer : PL/SQL Support. Location : Mumbai. Notice period : 0-30 days. We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PL/SQL and SQL in Oracle databases, and be able to design, develop and maintain database applications to support our business needs. Responsibilities: - Design, develop and maintain database applications using PL/SQL and SQL in Oracle databases. - Create and modify database structures, tables, procedures, triggers and other database objects. - Develop complex queries, reports, and data extracts to support business operations and decision-making. - Optimize and tune SQL queries for improved performance and scalability. - Participate in database design and architecture discussions and make recommendations for improvements. - Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into. technical specifications. - Develop and maintain database documentation and data dictionaries. - Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot database issues. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Programmer, with expertise in PL/SQL and SQL. - Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, data modeling, and database design principles. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries. - Experience with Oracle SQL Developer or similar database development tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Experience with Java, .NET, or other programming languages is a plus.
