The Role :We are seeking a highly experienced and inspiring Software Development Engineer Lead to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a team of talented developers, driving the successful delivery of complex software projects. You will leverage your deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to ensure the team produces high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.Responsibilities :- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing development environment.- Define technical vision, roadmaps, and architecture for assigned projects.- Break down complex projects into manageable tasks and ensure efficient workflow.- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers in their professional development.- Participate in technical design discussions, identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e., product management, QA) to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.- Champion best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and version control.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in software development methodologies and technologies relevant to the team's domain.- Participate in the recruitment and evaluation of new software development talent.- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear and concise technical information.- Contribute to the overall engineering culture by promoting innovation, continuous learning, and problem-solving.Technical Skills (Required) :- 10-15 years of experience in software development with a proven track record of leading and delivering successful projects.- In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e., Agile, Waterfall).- Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and best practices.- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e., Java, Python, C++).- Experience with building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure software systems.- Experience with version control systems (e., Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.- Familiarity with testing methodologies (unit testing, integration testing) and tools.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.- Adaptability to a fast-paced and ever-changing technological landscapeEducational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's Degree (ref:hirist.tech)
