Job Description :The Manager- Digital will lead and oversee enterprise projects within the IT Technical Team's Integration function. This role involves providing strategic technical consultation while actively participating as a member of the IT team.Responsibilities :- Project Leadership : Lead and manage IT personnel in project execution, change management, and project management processes.- Technical Consultation : Provide expert guidance in technical assessment, customization, and cost negotiation for projects.- Production Support Consultation : Offer technical expertise in production support strategies and solutions.- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.- Strategic Planning : Contribute to the strategic planning of IT initiatives, focusing on technical and functional excellence.- Resource Management: Manage resources effectively to meet project timelines and objectives.- Vendor Management: Engage with vendors to evaluate and negotiate technical solutions and services.- Risk Management : Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with integration projects.- Process Improvement : Continuously improve processes related to technical integration and support.- Team Development : Mentor and develop team members in technical skills and project management practices.Technical/Functional Skills :- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Java Technologies including Spring Boot, JEE, Microservices, and AngularJS.- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab, etc.- Strong understanding of Project Management concepts including cost negotiation and delivery management.- Comprehensive understanding of BFSI domain, particularly in lending processes from loan origination to disbursal.- Expertise in databases like Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database administration.- Familiarity with Application Design Patterns, Business Design Patterns, Technical Design Patterns, and Java Design Patterns.- Knowledge of Cloud Native applications, Docker, Kubernetes, and Unix/Linux administration.- Relevant certifications (e., PMP, ITIL, AWS) would be advantageous.- Experience in virtual machine creation and application migration strategies.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- A Master's degree is preferred.- Proven experience in a technical leadership or managerial role within IT integration projects.- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion (ref:hirist.tech)
