SQL migration -5-7 years. Experience 5-7 Years Compensation – 20-22 Lac Any location -preferably Pune/Chennai Placement -IVL office Hybrid/Full-time Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in database migration, with a focus on SQL databases. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with various database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL). Experience with ETL tools and processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies. Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database). Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Data Analysis and Planning: o Assess the current database structures and data quality. o Develop detailed migration plans, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies. o Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and constraints. 2. Migration Execution: o Design and implement data migration processes using SQL and other relevant technologies. o Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SQL scripts and tools. o Ensure data consistency and integrity throughout the migration process. 3. Testing and Validation: o Conduct thorough testing to verify data accuracy post-migration. o Identify and resolve any data discrepancies or issues. o Coordinate with QA teams to validate data migration outcomes. 4. Performance Optimization: o Optimize SQL queries and database performance during migration. o Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues during and after the migration. 5. Documentation and Reporting: o Document migration processes, methodologies, and any changes to the database schema. o Prepare detailed migration reports for stakeholders. 6. Support and Maintenance: o Provide post-migration support to address any issues or concerns. o Maintain and update data migration scripts and documentation.
