Minfy Tech is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in network engineering, routing, and switching, along with a strong understanding of cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be capable of designing, implementing, and improving network solutions. Key Responsibilities : . Network Design and Implementation : Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks. Equipment Installation and Configuration : Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, load balancers, DNS, and DHCP. Firewall and Network Device Management : Create, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, switches, F5 load balancers, VPNs, and other network devices. Security Systems Management : Manage security systems including IDS, IPS, WAF, DDoS protection, antivirus software, content filtering, and load balancers. AWS Network Management : Manage AWS infrastructure including VPC, EC2, WAF, AWS Shield & Shield Advance, load balancers, VPC endpoints, VPN, transit gateways, VPC peering, NACL, Landing Zone, Control Tower, Direct Connect Gateway, IAM roles, Route 53, and SSO. Routing Protocols : Apply knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP. Firewall Concepts : Utilize understanding of firewall concepts, including IPsec VPN, client/mobile VPN, and NAT. Web Technologies : Understand web-related terminologies and software such as web applications, protocols, service-oriented architectures, and web services. Incident Reporting : Communicate and report network and security incidents and issues to upper management. Technology and Security Principles : Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, security principles, and protocols. Upgrades and Maintenance : Arrange scheduled upgrades and update network equipment to the latest firmware releases. Fault Investigation : Investigate faults in the network and provide effective solutions. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving : Utilize strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Network Monitoring and Reporting : Monitor and report network status to key stakeholders. Tool Utilization : Use tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, Kibana, Jira, and Sumo Logic effectively. Operational Background : Understand basic ticketing tools, ITIL concepts (Service Requests, Change Management, and Incident Management), and possess the ability to work under pressure. DC Enterprise Networking : Apply experience in DC Enterprise networking and understand network architecture. Required Qualifications : .- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 6-8 years of experience as a Network Engineer.- Strong understanding of network and routing, switching, and cloud technologies.- Excellent communication skills.- Hands-on experience with network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, load balancers, DNS, DHCP).- Experience with security systems and protocols.- Proficient in AWS network management and related services.- Solid knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and firewall concepts (IPsec VPN, client/mobile VPN, NAT).- Familiarity with web technologies and protocols.- Ability to manage network security incidents and communicate effectively with management.- Up-to-date with the latest networking and security technologies.- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Experience with network monitoring tools and operational understanding of ITIL concepts.Exp : 6-8yr (ref:hirist.tech)
