Job Title : Android DeveloperLocation : Hyderabad (Work from Office)Experience : 4+ YearsNotice Period : Immediate to 15 DaysRole and Responsibilities :- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Work with outside data sources and APIs.- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.Requirements :- Experience: 4-8 years of experience in Android app development.- AOSP (Android Open-Source Platform): Strong experience with Android Open-Source Platform (AOSP).- Languages: Proficient in Java and Kotlin.- Technologies: Deep understanding of Android SDK, JNI, JSON, SQLite, and RESTful APIs.- Domain Preference: Preferably with experience in Automotive or Embedded systems development.- Android HAL and HIDL: Experience with Android Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and HIDL (HAL Interface Definition Language).- Android Services: Familiarity with Android Media and System services.- Architecture: Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVP, MVVM, etc.).- Application Framework: Experience with Android application framework components such as Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers, etc.- Team Management: Ability to monitor, handle, and manage a team effectively.- Version Control: Familiarity with Git or other version control software.- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.Preferred Skills :- Experience in developing applications for Automotive or Embedded systems.- Knowledge of Android NDK and C/C++ programming.- Familiarity with continuous integration.- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Personal Attributes :- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.- Eagerness to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
