About the Role : We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Java Developer to join our growing team. In this key role, you will play a vital part in the development lifecycle, taking ownership of challenging projects and mentoring junior developers. You will leverage your in-depth Java expertise to design, develop, test, and deploy robust and maintainable Java applications that meet our business needs.Responsibilities : - Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade Java applications using best practices and design patterns (e.g OOP, MVC, SOLID).- Collaborate with architects, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and efficient Java code.- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality through unit testing (100% code coverage) and integration testing.- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in Java applications.- Stay up-to-date on the latest Java technologies and frameworks (e.g, Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc.- Participate in the selection and integration of new technologies and libraries.- Mentor junior developers and share your knowledge and expertise.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and coding standards.Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Java developer.- In-depth knowledge of Java syntax, semantics, and core libraries (e.g Collections Framework, Concurrency).- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g JUnit) and writing unit tests.- Experience with build automation tools (e.g Maven, Gradle).- Experience with version control systems (e.g Git).- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (a plus).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team (ref:hirist.tech)
