Description:

About the Role :We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, troubleshooting expertise, and strong communication skills to ensure the performance, scalability, and security of our cloud environment.Responsibilities :- Manage and maintain cloud resources across compute, storage, and network services.- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and identify potential issues proactively.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to cloud services (compute, storage, networking, OS, databases) with minimal supervision.- Escalate critical issues to the appropriate teams and ensure timely resolution.- Implement best practices for cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Python to improve efficiency.- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technology, including open-source solutions and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)- Actively participate in knowledge sharing within the team and collaborate effectively with colleagues across various technical backgrounds and locations.- Document technical solutions and procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.Qualifications :- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related IT operations role.- Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure on major platforms (AWS, Azure preferred).- Strong understanding of core cloud services : compute, storage, networking, operating systems, and databases.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of technical issues.- Experience in scripting languages like Python for automation tasks (a plus).- Experience working in a highly collaborative and agile team environment.- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with cloud technology trends (ref:hirist.tech)
