Be AccountableAbout This Opportunity :- Overseeing the overall development life cycle of the software solutions and managing complex projects with significant bottom-line impact- Working with team in developing IT strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities for the client community that helps them succeed in their goals.- Facilitate in implementing the best technical design and approach for new product development.- Instilling best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work.- Delivering projects according to timelines and scope- Managing development projects with proper prioritization, planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments- Leading engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions within budget.- Facilitating technical discussions and drive solutions forward to achieve business needs and ensure alignment to strategic technology vision- Continuously deliver operational excellence and improve the reliability of high scale systems.- Helping direct reports grow in their technical skills and career path- Manage remote development teamQualifications :- Extensive experience managing medium to large, complex projects- Experience in managing high performance teams implementing the principles of design thinking, agile, scaled agile to drive innovating and desirable products and services- Experience with Cloud services and technologies, implementing cloud native applications- 7+ years combined working experience with .NET, C#, Java, and/or Go/Rust- Advanced knowledge of web development and database design, including experience with modern frameworks like Angular or React.- Experience with RESTful Services, CI/CD automation preferred- Experience with relational and no-sql databases- Demonstrated ability to analyze, propose and implement timely, cost effective, quality solutions for all applications within area of responsibility- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and lead technical discussions and drive solutions forward to achieve business needs- Demonstrated experience with designing or working with highly available and reliable systems including work on technical design and architecture- Strong experience facilitating issue intervention and driving improvements- Strong skills in risks identification, tracking and planned mitigation- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Working knowledge of Agile Framework- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.- 7+ years experience as a Developer (preferred experience with Java/Full stack)- 5+ years experience as a technical manager- 3+ years direct people, management experience- Familiarity with big data solutions like Apache spark, Airflow, Beam is a plus7-Eleven Global Solution Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
