Overview :We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with 2-3 years of experience in automated testing using Java and Selenium to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. Your expertise in Java programming and Selenium automation will contribute to improving our testing processes and delivering high-quality products to our customers.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.- Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.- Execute automated tests for web applications, including functional, regression, and integration tests.- Identify, analyze, and document defects and issues in a clear and concise manner.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve issues affecting product quality.- Implement and maintain automated test frameworks and test data sets to support continuous testing.- Monitor test results and analyze test metrics to provide insights into application quality and performance.- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.- Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in automated testing and quality assurance.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 2-3 years of experience as an Automation Tester or Software Developer in Test, with a focus on Java and Selenium automation.- Proficiency in Java programming language for test automation and scripting.- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for automated testing of web applications.- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.- Experience with version control systems (e.g, Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g, Jenkins).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications :- Certification in Java programming or Selenium automation.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Agile testing practices.- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.- Knowledge of SQL and databases for data validation in automated tests (ref:hirist.tech)
