Job Description :Responsibilities : Leadership and Team Management :- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of L1 and L2 Wintel support engineers- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment- Delegate tasks, provide performance feedback, and ensure continuous improvement within the teamData Center Operations :- Manage and oversee all aspects of data center operations, ensuring uptime, performance, and security- Maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plansTechnical Expertise :- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows and Linux servers- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and user accounts- Implement and maintain vulnerability management solutions- Manage and optimize VMware environments- Possess knowledge of Citrix VDI infrastructure (preferred)- Understand Azure server management conceptsServer Administration : - Manage and maintain a large server environment (500-XXXX servers)- Configure and administer DNS, DHCP, and network services- Implement and manage patching processes using WSUS or SCCMAdditional Responsibilities :- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Wintel support- Document technical procedures and processes- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless problem resolution- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve IT infrastructure efficiencyQualifications :- 6-8 years of experience as a Wintel Engineer with a proven track record of success in L3 support- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration- Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and user accounts- Familiarity with vulnerability management solutions- Proven experience in VMware vSphere administration (vCenter, ESXi)- Knowledge of Citrix VDI infrastructure (preferred)- Understanding of Azure server management concepts- Experience managing large-scale server environments (500-XXXX servers)- Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, and network services- Experience with server patching tools like WSUS or SCCM- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
