Description:
Senior F5 Engineer. Work Location : India,Remote. Work Timing : APAC ,EMEA and US support required. Job Type : Contract (12 months extendable). Responsibilities :- The role is for an IT Network Security specialist who will be working as part of a newly developed service and its associated connectivity infrastructure.- Strong hands-on experience with designing, configuring, and troubleshooting F5 LTM - SME in LTM.- Experience of implementing new LTM packages.- Working knowledge of DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM), Cisco routing & switching.- Writing custom irules to assist defence against DDOS attacks.- Must have participated in developing highly available load balancer designs and architectures in the context of critical infrastructure and service deployment.- Must have relevant experience working in a large Global Financial organisation.- Rigorous attention to detail, strong organisational skills and able to work to tight deadlines.- Confident working both independently and collaboratively across internal, external and hybrid global teams.- Proactive and passionate mindset with an inquisitive nature to understand the customer's environment in an approachable manner.- Can propose alternative solutions to a problem whilst working collaboratively with other team members.- Beneficial experience working with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, CI/CD.- Beneficial experience working with DevOps tools (i.e. GitHub, Jira, Confluence).- Beneficial to have a good understanding on external Cloud Service Providers (i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure).
