Job Description :Role : Data Engineer - MIS DepartmentLocation : JP Nagar BangaloreCompany : Domestic Private Sector BankEducation : Graduate in BE/BTech/B.Sc. in Computer Science, BCA, MCA MTechExperience : Min 2 years experience in Oracle, SQL, MS-SQLCTC : Scale I of IBA 12 LPAProbation Period : 1 year Experience/Knowledge/Skills :- Hands-on experience in Power BI for data visualization.- Experience with any ETL tools.- Domain knowledge of banking environment, IT, and MIS activities is preferable.- Familiarity with DBT for transforming data in the data warehouse.- Python scripting knowledge is an added advantage.- Experience with data visualization tools.- Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools.Job Profile/Responsibilities :- Coordinate with business analysts and stakeholders to develop business requirements and specification documents.- Develop complex, optimized queries to extract data for management reporting.- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation tasks.- Build and maintain data marts and repositories.- Develop and manage ETL processes to collect data from various sources and move it between environments.- Create data pipelines to automate, schedule, and scale data tasks.- Design and maintain database architecture to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.- Ensure data models support reporting needs and data visualization.- Clean and validate data to improve quality and reliability.- Implement data validation methods and analysis tools.- Use Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports.- Transform raw data into meaningful insights for business decisions using Power BI.- Use SQL for querying databases.- Manage data with PostgreSQL.- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and address technical issues.
