Position Overview : We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, systems administration, and automation, with a passion for implementing DevOps practices and methodologies. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions that support our software development lifecycle.Responsibilities : Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : - Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using IaC principles and tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure components across cloud and on-premises environments.- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) : - Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.- Integrate automated testing frameworks and tools into CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality and reliability.Containerization and Orchestration : - Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or similar platforms.- Optimize containerized environments for scalability, performance, and resource utilization.Monitoring and Logging : - Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk.- Monitor system performance, application health, and infrastructure metrics to proactively identify and address issues.Security and Compliance : - Implement security best practices and compliance standards for infrastructure and applications, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.- Conduct security audits and assessments to identify and remediate security risks and vulnerabilities.Collaboration and Documentation : - Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define requirements, implement solutions, and troubleshoot issues.- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.Qualifications : Education and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software development roles.Technical Skills : - Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, or Go for automation and infrastructure management.- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including services like EC2, S3, IAM, Azure VMs, or GCP Compute Engine.- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for managing code and configuration changes.Preferred Qualifications : - Certification in DevOps or related technologies (e. g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).- Experience with serverless computing platforms such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.- Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack.
