Description:

We seek a motivated and experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Perl scripting, Python programming, XML/XSLT transformations, and database technologies. You will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions to meet the needs of our global clients, maintaining and enhancing existing applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain software applications using Perl, Python, XML, XSLT, and database technologies.- Design and implement data transformation processes using XML and XSLT.- Write efficient, clean, and reusable code that complies with company standards and best practices.- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other team members to understand the requirements and provide technical solutions.- Perform database management tasks, including design, modifications, and performance tuning.- Assist in the integration of new software and systems into existing environments.- Maintain documentation for system processes and procedures.- Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge and mentor junior developers.Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in Perl scripting and Python programming.- Experience with XML technologies, including XML parsing and XSLT transformations.- Good understanding of relational database management systems and SQL.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Additional Qualifications: - Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.Perks and Benefits: - Competitive salary package.- Night shift allowance.- Dinner is provided during shifts.- Opportunities for career advancement and continuous learning.- Health insurance and wellness programs.- Flexible work hours and remote work options.Work Environment: This role requires working in the EST time zone to support our international clients and projects.
