Position : Network EngineerExperience : 5-7 YearsLocation : RemoteNotice Period : Immediate JoinersJob Description :The Firm is currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our US Region team. This role will deploy and maintain complex network infrastructure, including technology refreshes and cloud networking. The ideal candidate will possess a broad-based understanding of network technologies, team communication skills, and have extensive experience in implementing highly available network services.Roles and Responsibilities :Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure, considering scalability, performance, reliability, and security requirements.Implement and optimize routing protocols, network segmentation (VLANs), and load balancing techniques to ensure efficient traffic flow and high availability.Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to integrate on-premises network infrastructure with Azure virtual networks and cloud-based services.Plan, implement, and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.Monitor network performance, analyze trends, and implement proactive measures to optimize network operations and ensure cost-effectiveness.Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services with other IT systems and applications.Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts where necessary.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering.Experience and Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.At least 8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration and engineering.Extensive knowledge of network protocols, architectures (TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, etc.), and networking technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).Proven experience in designing and implementing highly available network solutions, disaster recovery strategies, and redundant network architectures.Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.Familiarity with Azure networking services (Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, etc.) and cloud integration.Experience with network scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.).Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable.The Network Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the organization's network infrastructure.
