This role presents a unique opportunity to work intimately with the founders, have accelerated career growth and gain a comprehensive understanding of the nuances of algorithmic trading and fund management.As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for Architect and enhance the trading platform to meet evolving strategy needs, focusing on market data interfaces What you need to do :- Designing and implementing complex, strategy-based trading platforms that execute trade orders - Leading development of high performance streaming processing architectures which allows processing of live and historical market data with minimal latency - Developing systems for easy access to back testing, and trading simulations - Creating data analysis tools for pattern identification - Building risk-management and performance-tracking toolsWhat you need to have :- 4 to 7 years of professional experience - Degree in computer science or related field - Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming - Proficiency in any development language (e.g., C++, Java, Python, Perl, Bash, Shell scripts) - Working knowledge of Linux and cloud infrastructures - Passion for current technology trends and designing robust, resilient, and fast in-house trading systems - Exceptional problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills Benefits :- Competitive salary and performance based bonus - Exclusive access to invest in company's proprietary funds - Possibility of equity ownership and/ or profit sharing (ref:hirist.tech)
