VARITE has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing businesses in America, as well as a winner of prestigious industry awards.Role Description : - This is an on-site contract role as a SAP ABAP professional on VARITE INC Payroll in Bengaluru.Essential Job Functions :- As a SAP Software Engineer in Global Logistics Outbound team, candidate will support in fulfilling the technical solution for the Global Logistics business requirements in the ongoing implementation of the SAP S/4 HANA and existing R/3 systems in the Global IT of BSH.- This will includes Interfaces with both SAP and non-SAP system.- With the support from Solution Architect, Scrum Master, Business Partner and other stake holders job will be specifically in realizing the following areas of the ERP and S/4 implementation, where at the same time alignment with the Agile principles and best practices.- Ongoing Technical Development under the advisement of the Solution Architect/Product owner.- Supports the design, coding, testing and deployment of reports, integrations, enhancements and forms primarily using ABAP and other SAP-specific technologies such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, BADI, BTEs, CDS views and others.- Supports existing RICEF objects, analyzing any defects/issues raised, applying OSS notes, supporting any issues with RICEF, identify gaps and provide solution(s), translate it to technical efforts and estimate the work for the same.- Provides support to existing SAP implementation and develop incremental enhancements to existing functionality and/or new functionality as needed.- Assists the SAP Solution Architect/Product Owners in diagnosing issues, creating prototypes (as necessary).- Liaising with Functional Teams ensuring the solution meets the needs of the business.- Effectively analyzes root causes to provide solutions for production and development or assure optimization of performance objects and systems utilizing best practices.- Develops and maintains appropriate documentation in respect of all of the above-mentioned points.- Build, develop and grow business relationships with team members and partners.- Provide regular communication to management on work assignment issues and status.INTEGRATION :- Supports the building and maintenance of complex objects, which involves integration to external systems using technique such as web services, RFC, OData, Proxies, Idocs etc.- Develops and maintains integration of many interrelated systems, program elements and applications while ensuring appropriate data security.Agile Way of Working :- Work in an IT environment, which adopts an Agile Way of Working and a workflow that embraces the boundaries of the Agile principles.- These Agile principles promote transparency, bring in a behavior to 'inspect and adapt' and work collaboratively among various parties.Qualifications :- A minimum requirement of six years of SAP ABAP development hands on experience and SAP process knowledge of supply chain processes. - Experience in design, development, implementation and maintenance of SAP systems (R/3 and S/4 HANA) and experience in agile way of working is desirable.Mandatory Skills : - SAP ABAP- ABAP on HANA with latest syntax.- Object Orient Programming.- Integration Techniques like web services, RFCs, OData, Proxies, IDOCs etc.- SAP process knowledge of supply chain processes.Secondary Skills: Cloud platform (SAP LBN and SAP CPI):.- Basic Java programming skill for SAP LBN (Module GTT) and SAP CPI.- Knowledge of schema, message mapping, groovy and custom functions used in SAP CPI, BTP cloud connector etc. (ref:hirist.tech)
