SOC Consultant Experience : 4-8 YearsResponsibilities :- Manage GLBA security awareness and training program and annual information security awareness activities.- Work alongside the QA department to ensure all documents are concise and well written in order to meet ISO's standards.- Monitor company s internal logs and traffic via Splunk to proactively investigate suspicious traffic and determine if the anomalies are malicious.- Perform email and file encryption transition for global financial/insurance company.- Assist organizations with creation of their management systems and registration to international (ISO) security and service management standards.- Provide technical leadership, task management, and engineering support to customers in the development of cryptography and key management solutions.- Apply advance knowledge of core networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).- Create new market share by selling ADT products and services to new and existing homeowners also small and commercial businesses.- Design the virtualization strategy with primary and secondary data center.- LogRhythm- Threat Detection and Alerting- Incident Investigation.- Security Event Correlation Compliance Management- User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA)- Vulnerability Management- Advanced Analytics.- Incident Response Orchestration- Log Management and Analysis.- Cloud Security Monitoring- Insider Threat Detection.- IoT Security.- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Integration- Network Traffic Analysis- Forensic AnalysisRequired Technical and Professional Expertise :- Should be able to design and implement end to end use-cases, runbooks (A Must)- Hands on SIEM: IBM Qradar, ArcSight, Logrhythm, Splunk, XSOAR- Hand on SOAR: Resilient and others (SOAR workflow and playbook skill set)- Expert knowledge of Mitre Framework, NIST framework and Cyber Kill Chain Process.- Scripting and custom parser knowledge required for integrations. - An understanding of Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting - Proficient in incident response processes - detection, triage, incident analysis, remediation, and reporting.- Understanding of compliance issues (ISO 27001, PCI, COBIT, GDPR, POPII, etc..) and market regulations- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, network layers, Ethernet, ARP, etc)- Knowledge of malware operation and indicators- Knowledge of threat landscape (threat actors, APT, cyber-crime, etc- Knowledge of Windows and Linux- Knowledge in penetration techniques (ref:hirist.tech)
