Role : As a Tech Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of technology projects and initiatives within an organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects. Your role will involve planning, executing, and monitoring project activities, managing resources, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing risks, resolving issues, and ensuring high-quality project deliverables. Responsibilities : Experience : 8-10 years - Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. - Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. - Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts. - Analyse and report on any variances encountered during project implementation. - Proactively identify and address project impediments - Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. - Manage and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization and productivity. - Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring clarity of project goals and objectives. - Coordinate and prioritize tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and timely resolution of issues. - Conduct regular project reviews to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. - Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards. Must have : Technical Knowledge : Possess a strong understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and frameworks relevant to the organization's projects. This includes knowledge of programming languages, databases, cloud platforms, and web development tools. Agile Project Management : - Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. - Ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Stakeholder Management : - Proven ability to effectively engage and communicate with stakeholders at various levels, including executives, business owners, and technical teams. - Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to manage competing priorities and expectations. Risk Management : - Experience in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks. - Ability to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project disruptions. Quality Assurance : - Understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. - Familiarity with test planning, test case creation, and defect tracking. Communication Skills : - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely. - Ability to tailor communication style to different audiences and effectively facilitate meetings and presentations. Problem-Solving : - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes, propose solutions, and make informed decisions. - Ability to think critically and adapt to changing project requirements or constraints. Team Leadership : Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative work environment, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Project Management Tools : Proficiency in using project management tools and software for planning, tracking, and reporting project progress.
